An art and tech collective at USC
Breaking the Bounds of Creative Work

Corpus Callosum at USC, or COCA for short, is a student collective that offers resources, mentorship, and a collaborative space for students to apply the combined potential of their brainpower into building creative projects.Projects can take any shape or form. In the past, students have worked together to build video games, responsive art displays, immersive 3D simulations, eye-tracking software, escape rooms, mixed-media sculptures, and more!At the end of every semester, we host a Showcase gallery event to display every team's finished (or in-progress) work. Everyone is free to visit Showcase, even if you aren't a member of COCA!
Left Brain x Right Brain

What does "Corpus Callosum" mean? The human brain is composed of two cerebral hemispheres. The left hemisphere is utilized for analytical and language thinking, known as the powerhouse of math and science. The right hemisphere controls intuition and sensitivity, creating art with imagination.Corpus Callosum at USC is named after the region of the brain that connects these two hemispheres. As an organization, we intersect the technological left brain with the artistic right brain to craft new ideas guided under a single theme unique to each semester.
